This above the line campaign remains one of the most exciting jobs I have worked on.
The idea was simple, create the 'World's biggest smile' and create a Guiness World Record. This was done by taking as many 'smiley' photo's of the general public and exhibit them all in the Royal College of Art.
To break this world record, HP recruited TMB who specialised in Event Management.
I helped create all the event graphics and material attached to the campaign including a modular exhibition stand that toured the country for 6 months visiting large shopping centres and taking photos of the general public. The pull was easy "Would you like your photo taken to break a world record?" We then created the opportunity to demo the brilliant user intuitive kit that HP were trying to sell. We gave everyone promotion vouchers to buy on the day.
I started the campaign rolling myself and was proud to be part of the team on the first day it started at Bluewater Shopping Centre.
It was a roaring success with TV coverage and great sales for HP.
